What to expect at the hall, and how to tell us what would help.

We want everyone to be able to come to the cinema. If there is anything we can do to make your visit easier, please get in touch before the screening and we will do our best to help.

Getting in
Please tell us before the screening if you need step-free access and we will make sure someone is at the door to help you in and to a seat.

Seating
Seating is unreserved and we set the chairs out for each screening, so we can keep you a seat wherever suits best — near the door, on an aisle, or with space alongside for a wheelchair.

Toilets
Toilets are available in the hall. If you need to know what to expect before you come, please ask us and we will describe them honestly.

Arriving by car
You are very welcome to be dropped off right at the entrance. Please let us know if you need us to keep the space by the door clear for you.

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at every screening. Tell us you are bringing one and we will keep a seat with a bit of extra room.

Hearing and sound
We can seat you nearer the speakers or the screen if that helps. If you need subtitles, please ask — some of our films are available with them and we will tell you which.

Coming with someone
If you need a companion or carer with you, please get in touch before booking and we will sort out the arrangements.
Tell us what would help
We are a small volunteer team in a village hall, and the best thing you can do is tell us in advance. Nothing is too much trouble to ask about.
This website
We have built this site to be usable with a keyboard and with a screen reader. Text resizes, colours meet contrast guidelines, and nothing relies on colour alone to make sense. Trailers and maps only load when you ask for them.
