Evanton Community Cinema

A proper cinema experience, right here in our community.

Evanton Community Cinema is a non-profit run by a group of local volunteers, set up in 2023 to bring proper big-screen nights to the village. Our screenings are held at the Victoria Diamond Jubilee Hall in Evanton.

We wanted a space that could be used by everyone, that brings all ages together, and that gives the community somewhere to share a film the way films are meant to be seen — in the dark, with other people, on a big screen.

We show an eclectic range of films, pre-recorded events and programming, from new talent and low and medium budget independents through to the bigger blockbusters. The aim is to give our community the chance to see things they may have missed, or may never have had access to in the first place.

We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming screening, and we are dedicated to making Evanton Community Cinema a space for everyone to enjoy.

Where we screen

Evanton Community Cinema is a separate organisation from the village hall, but our equipment is installed there and that is where all our screenings take place.
