About the film
Wartime rationing has left the island of Todday without a drop of whisky, and morale has never been lower. Then a cargo ship carrying fifty thousand cases runs aground offshore, and the islanders set about a salvage operation the excise men are determined to stop. A perfect Boxing-week film.
