Cookies

This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies of its own. WordPress may set a cookie if you log in as an editor. Comments are switched off, so there is no comment cookie either.

Things we load from other websites

The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Your browser fetches the font files from Google when a page loads, so Google sees your IP address in the same way any web server you visit does. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Two other parts of this site load content from other companies, and both of them wait for you to ask:

  • Trailers are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play on a trailer.
  • Maps are provided by Google. Nothing is requested from Google Maps until you press “Show the map”.

Once you choose to load either of them, that company may set cookies and will see your IP address. Their own privacy notices apply.

Buying tickets

Tickets are sold through TicketSource, which is a separate company with its own privacy notice. When you follow a “Buy tickets” link you leave this website.

The mailing list

Our VIP Red Carpet mailing list is run through Mailchimp. You choose to join it, every email has an unsubscribe link, and we never pass your address to anyone else.

The contact form

Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to us and are not stored on this website. We use your name and email address only to reply to you.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cinema@diamondjubileehall.co.uk and we will respond as quickly as we can. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
